Cannes, seen from the water

The Lérins Islands lie just offshore from Cannes, yet they feel removed from the pace of the Croisette. A private day charter creates a natural counterpoint to congress schedules, brand programmes and longer Riviera stays. It may be designed as an unhurried family escape, a discreet leadership retreat, a hosted client experience or a celebratory day among friends.

TBL Yachts shapes the itinerary around the guests rather than a rigid sequence of stops. Departure point, cruising pace, swimming preferences, lunch format, children’s needs, water activities and return timing are discussed in advance. The captain then retains final authority to adapt the plan to weather, sea state, safety and local restrictions.

02

A considered vessel selection

The ideal day yacht is not simply the largest available option. It must support how the party intends to spend the day. Generous exterior decks may be essential for sun and lunch, while shaded areas, easy water access, stable cruising and comfortable interior space can matter equally. For families, discreet safety arrangements and practical circulation are central to the recommendation.

We provide a confidential shortlist of numbered options, selected for condition, service level, layout and suitability. The proposal clarifies the cruising zone, included crew, customary operating hours, fuel basis, catering assumptions and any additional services. Vessel availability and rates remain subject to reconfirmation at the time of contracting.

03

Hospitality with a Riviera sense of place

Onboard hospitality can remain beautifully simple: chilled refreshments, seasonal fruit, a light Mediterranean lunch and precisely timed service. It can also become a more elaborate private table with a chef, curated wines and bespoke menu design. The galley, access conditions and vessel policy guide what can be delivered at the expected standard.

A restaurant reservation ashore or near the islands may be incorporated when logistics permit. Tender access, reservation policy, sea conditions and timing must all be considered. TBL can also coordinate ground transfers, villa or penthouse departure, security, special celebrations and onward evening arrangements through the wider ecosystem.

04

Quiet luxury, operationally protected

The most memorable charter days often feel spontaneous because the planning is not visible. Towels, dietary notes, preferred music, shade, tender timing, swimming equipment and personal details are prepared before embarkation. Guests encounter an atmosphere of ease; the team retains a precise operational picture behind it.

Privacy is treated as part of service quality. Guest information is shared only where required for the operation, and high-profile requirements are coordinated discreetly. Photography, social content or branded touches are never assumed and can be managed according to the party’s preferences.

05

Beyond the Lérins Islands

Depending on the vessel, embarkation point, operating window and conditions, a private charter may explore other stretches of the Côte d’Azur. Longer programmes towards Saint-Tropez or Monaco require a separate assessment of cruising time, fuel, sea state and guest comfort. We do not compress geography into an unrealistic promise.

A private consultation allows us to recommend a day that feels generous rather than scheduled. Tell us who is travelling, the atmosphere you wish to create and the time you genuinely have; we will design the marine experience around those priorities.

TBL YACHTS · FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to the operational questions that shape a credible yacht project.

Capacity depends on the individual vessel, whether it is berthed or navigating, its certification, crew requirements, event format and applicable rules. TBL Yachts verifies the permitted scenario before any number is confirmed.

Positions close to the Palais, including high-demand areas of the Vieux-Port, are subject to harbour allocation, availability, vessel dimensions, event-period arrangements and formal approval. No precise berth is guaranteed before written confirmation.

Potentially, but navigation changes the certified capacity, service plan, guest manifest and safety framework. We assess a cruising sequence separately from the quayside event.

Temporary exterior branding may be possible with owner consent, technical validation and any required port approval. Materials, fixing methods, visibility and removal must be agreed in advance. We never promise hull branding before feasibility is confirmed.

Yes, subject to the yacht’s electrical capacity, layout, safety systems, owner requirements and port rules. Premium Production Cannes can coordinate technical direction and production within the TBL ecosystem.

This depends on the yacht’s policy, galley, access and event format. TBL can coordinate an approved caterer, guest chef or onboard service concept once the vessel and menu requirements are known.

Inclusions vary by vessel and contract. Crew and standard operating equipment are usually defined in the proposal, while fuel, food, beverages, berthing, water toys, gratuities and local taxes may be additional. Every cost basis is clarified before booking.

Timing varies with craft, sea state, weather, access points, traffic and harbour instructions. We provide an operational estimate and recommend a road contingency when the wider schedule is time-critical.

Only where access is authorised and operationally suitable. Permission, draft, boarding conditions, local rules and the receiving party must be confirmed before the route is committed.

The captain and operator retain final safety authority. TBL defines decision points, communicates changes discreetly and can coordinate road, quayside or shore-based alternatives where appropriate.

Security is planned on a need-to-know basis with the client’s team, port, crew, chauffeurs and venue stakeholders. Access control, manifests, arrival windows and discreet contingency procedures are adapted to the risk profile.

As early as possible. High-demand congress periods compress yacht, berth, accommodation and production availability. An early brief allows a stronger selection and more credible approval timeline, although late requests can still be assessed.
