A waterfront venue with strategic value

During Cannes’ major business and cultural gatherings, time, proximity and privacy become premium assets. A yacht positioned in or near the Vieux-Port can create a distinctive headquarters for meetings, press conversations, client entertaining and evening receptions. It offers a controlled environment within the wider intensity of the city, while giving the brand a visible yet refined presence on the waterfront.

TBL Yachts begins with the event objective rather than the vessel. We assess whether the priority is a board meeting, a sequence of hosted appointments, a cocktail reception, a private dinner, a product reveal or a multi-day hospitality programme. This determines the appropriate vessel profile, guest flow, interior configuration, exterior deck value and technical requirements.

02

From berth strategy to guest journey

A compelling yacht event depends on details that are often invisible to the guest. Berthing location, access control, invitation timing, tender contingencies, loading windows, crew circulation and supplier accreditation all influence the final experience. Port positions and event permissions are never treated as automatic: they remain subject to availability, harbour authority approval, vessel specifications and the regulations applicable at the time.

Our production method maps the complete arrival sequence, from chauffeur drop-off and welcome desk to gangway protocol and onboard orientation. For leadership teams and high-profile guests, discreet security coordination can be integrated into the plan. The objective is effortless hospitality supported by a disciplined operational framework.

03

Brand expression without visual excess

Temporary branding aboard a yacht requires restraint. The vessel’s architecture should elevate the identity rather than disappear beneath it. Depending on technical feasibility, owner consent and port rules, the environment may include removable graphics, illuminated marks, digital content, branded furnishings, floral design, menus, uniforms and carefully positioned product displays. Any hull treatment, exterior installation or high-visibility element must be assessed and approved before it is promised.

Through Premium Production Cannes, a brand of the TBL ecosystem, we can coordinate creative production, technical direction, lighting, sound, scenic elements and show calling. This integrated relationship reduces handovers and preserves consistency from the initial concept to the final guest departure.

04

Hospitality designed around the vessel

Catering is developed for the yacht’s galley, access conditions and service rhythm. Options may range from elegant breakfast meetings and all-day refreshments to chef-led dinners or standing receptions. Menus, glassware, staffing and service style are chosen only after the vessel and guest format are confirmed. Capacity while berthed may differ materially from capacity while navigating, and the applicable certified limits always take precedence over an event ambition.

Our network can extend the programme ashore through TBL Exclusive for concierge, accommodation, aviation and VIP services; The House Cannes for a complementary gallery setting; and Cannes Penthouse for exceptional residential hospitality. The result is one coherent guest journey rather than a collection of unrelated suppliers.

05

A confidential, decision-ready proposal

Each engagement starts with a private consultation. We qualify dates, congress, guest numbers, desired position, service format, brand requirements, budget framework and decision timeline. The resulting proposal presents a tightly edited selection as Option 1, Option 2 and Option 3, with relevant imagery, principal characteristics, operational assumptions and exclusions.

Availability, pricing, berthing and authorisations are reconfirmed before contracting. This evidence-led process protects the client from attractive but unrealistic concepts and gives agencies a dependable production foundation for Cannes.

TBL YACHTS · FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to the operational questions that shape a credible yacht project.

Capacity depends on the individual vessel, whether it is berthed or navigating, its certification, crew requirements, event format and applicable rules. TBL Yachts verifies the permitted scenario before any number is confirmed.

Positions close to the Palais, including high-demand areas of the Vieux-Port, are subject to harbour allocation, availability, vessel dimensions, event-period arrangements and formal approval. No precise berth is guaranteed before written confirmation.

Potentially, but navigation changes the certified capacity, service plan, guest manifest and safety framework. We assess a cruising sequence separately from the quayside event.

Temporary exterior branding may be possible with owner consent, technical validation and any required port approval. Materials, fixing methods, visibility and removal must be agreed in advance. We never promise hull branding before feasibility is confirmed.

Yes, subject to the yacht’s electrical capacity, layout, safety systems, owner requirements and port rules. Premium Production Cannes can coordinate technical direction and production within the TBL ecosystem.

This depends on the yacht’s policy, galley, access and event format. TBL can coordinate an approved caterer, guest chef or onboard service concept once the vessel and menu requirements are known.

Inclusions vary by vessel and contract. Crew and standard operating equipment are usually defined in the proposal, while fuel, food, beverages, berthing, water toys, gratuities and local taxes may be additional. Every cost basis is clarified before booking.

Timing varies with craft, sea state, weather, access points, traffic and harbour instructions. We provide an operational estimate and recommend a road contingency when the wider schedule is time-critical.

Only where access is authorised and operationally suitable. Permission, draft, boarding conditions, local rules and the receiving party must be confirmed before the route is committed.

The captain and operator retain final safety authority. TBL defines decision points, communicates changes discreetly and can coordinate road, quayside or shore-based alternatives where appropriate.

Security is planned on a need-to-know basis with the client’s team, port, crew, chauffeurs and venue stakeholders. Access control, manifests, arrival windows and discreet contingency procedures are adapted to the risk profile.

As early as possible. High-demand congress periods compress yacht, berth, accommodation and production availability. An early brief allows a stronger selection and more credible approval timeline, although late requests can still be assessed.
